One of the things showcased at the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S III was a beautiful Android version of the burgeoning social network and feed reader, Flipboard. For the time being it seemed that we would have to wait for the official release of the app, but the tenacious folks over at XDA-developers, especially someone with the alias Valcho has made the impossible possible. Here we are with the version 0.7.17 of the Flipboard android app available for all. At present we don’t know about Froyo compatibility, however Gingerbread and of course ICS is supported. One more thing, if you want the widget as well install the app in phone memory. So head on over to xda-developers to download the app to see it in all its glory.
