Internet Explorer gains market share, Chrome and Firefox loose ground.

Although Microsoft’s Internet Explorer has been on a steady decline ever since Google’s Chrome browser joined the war, it still has the top spot with more than half of the users sticking to it. According to Net Applications, IE has gained a complete percentage over its rivals in the past month with a market share of 53.83 percent. More after the break.

The new Bing Toolbar: Sometimes you are bound to get things right

I have to say I am not that big on Browser Toolbars, they are always cluttered and cause crashes more often than not. Bing today rolled out a new version of its toolbar, that features deep integrations with search, Facebook, email clients and more. You can access your Hotmail, Yahoo Mail or Gmail accounts and you can bring in your Facebook network and push status updates from the actual bar.

Is this the new interface of Internet Explorer 9 ?

Microsoft has, so far, given us four developer builds of the new Internet Explorer 9. However, they have been extremely tight lipped about its interface. But Mary Jo Foley over at ZDNet caught a glimpse of the new interface which is extremely minimalistic to say the least.  The russian site that posted the image has since been pulled. The screenshot shows a navigation bar, a combined url and search box. But the cluttered menu or favorites options are no more(At least not visible).
