The white Nokia Lumia 900 is now available at AT&T, you can grab it for free today.

Chris Weber,  President of Nokia Inc.( North America) tweeted saying that the white Lumia 900 is available now at some AT&T retail outlets, despite the fact that the phone was to launch officially on April 22nd. If you remember last time we informed you about the $100 cashback from Nokia on the Lumia 900, its still available although just for today. Although the phone isn’t listed on AT&T as of yet, and the cyan version remains out of stock, it would be prudent to head over to your local AT&T outlet to have a looksie. HTC One X comes early to Rogers, available now on a $170 three-year contract.

Starting today, those of you who live in Canada will be able to get their hands on this Sense 4 bearing handset. Rogers says this comes as an exclusive for the store with a three-year contract price of $169.99 or you can get it sans strings attached at a whopping $624.99. While our brethren with AT&T would have to wait another month to get a flavor of the OneX.

Alienware refreshes line-up of M14x, M17x and M18x with new GPU’s, M11x discontinued.

Alienware has refreshed its line-up of M14x, M17x and M18x with NVIDIA’s 600 series graphics with GDRR5 memory. Conspicuously absent from the list is the smallest of the bunch the M11x. Yes folks, its been discontinued and is being “phased out”. More on the update after the break.

South Korean wing of HP raided for alleged price fixing.

Korea Times has brought another sensational news to focus. Allegedly HP is being investigated for price-fixing by the Fair Trade Commission of South Korea. The report claims that FTC seized documents, computer records and questioned employees over alleged price-rigging on public-sector contracts with IBM and Oracle. A company spokesperson said that the visit was routine, while FTC officers refused to comment about ongoing matters. The only caveat is that if any wrong doing is found, it might lead to criminal proceedings.

Nokia releases fix for Lumia 900 data connectivity issue, three days early.

The folks over at Nokia are in full gear to sort out the Data connectivity issue on your Lumia 900. If the $100 rebate wasn’t enough, the Finnish giant has made the software update available three days earlier than what was mentioned earlier. Nokia reiterated that the early release is to show that the issue is not with the hardware of the device or the cellular network.  More on the update process after the break.

Google demoes insanely fast boot on Chromebook with Coreboot

After incorporating support for Intel’s next gen Ivy Bridge processors Google has now demoed Coreboot for its ChromeBooks. It uses Coreboot which is an open source BIOS replacement for Linux systems. This was spotted by Netbooknews at IDF 2012 in Beijing, where it was being demoed on a Prototype Samsung Chromebook. We can only hope that Coreboot enabled Ivy Bridge supported Chromebooks are on their way, but we’ll have to wait for Google I/O for that. Microsoft Office Mobile including Word, Excel, Powerpoint now available for Symbian Belle handsets.

Mobile versions of Word, PowerPoint and Excel are now available to select Symbian Belle handsets thanks to Nokia and Microsoft. This adds to the release of OneNote, Document Connection, Lync and PowerPoint Broadcast which were added earlier this year. The following handsets are compatible with the update, Nokia E7, C7, C6-01, X7, Oro, 700, 701 or 603. Just launch the Nokia Update Utility and install the update.

Nokia has made the Lumia 900 free for all AT&T customers. Anyone who buys the Lumia 900 from now until April 21st will get a $100 rebate from Nokia making it effectively free. More coverage after the jump.
