Windows 8 is going to be unveiled on October 25 and you’ll be able to get a retail pack beginning October 26. If you were curious as to what the packaging will look like for Microsoft’s touch-centric OS, your wait is over. Amazon’s UK site posted several listings that include a few variations of Windows 8 Pro, and also officially reveals the box art and packaging for the new operating system. Windows 8 Pro,Windows 8 Pro Pack, and Windows 8 Pro N (European version) can currently be found listed on Amazon. Along with the reveal of the box-art at Amazon, Microsoft has also updated the default apps of Windows 8 along with several fixes which are not a part of the retail version. So as soon as you install your new copy, get ready for a hefty upgrade.

It appears that the Windows 8 Pro Pack is essentially just a card containing the product key that will allow users to upgrade to the Pro edition from the regular version, and the European Windows 8 N version doesn’t include Windows Media Player. There’s no word on pricing, but existing Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 users can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for $39.99 online or $69.99 in stores.
