Google has updated its Play Store Android App to version 3.9.16 with some new features alongwith some minor bug fixes. Amazingly, the new Play Store app is also smaller in size than the previous version. One of the major additions is Wishlists where you can easily add items using the Bookmark icon on the top of app page and view your wishlist from Options -> My Wishlist. This feature is not limited to apps, you can add anything that is available in the Play Store like TV shows, magazines, music, movies and books.

Another addition to the Play Store app is that you can now remove apps from All applications list. Since we try many apps, the list becomes full with applications we may not actually want. To remove apps from this list you can now go to My Apps, swipe to ALL and then use the delete button to remove them from the list. You can also long press to go into multiple mode and then delete the selected items together.
The new update also brings a change in the way notifications are displayed. Instead of showing a generic icon for an available update an icon of the app that needs updating will be shown. The update has started to roll out and will be available to most devices within the week.
