A few days back we posted about the leaked specs and images of the Lenovo ThinkPad 2 which would be running the full version of Windows 8. Today we have official confirmation about the product from Lenovo which would be released this October alongwith Windows 8. The key specs of the tablet are 10.1-inch LED screen with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, Wi-Fi, optional AT&T LTE and 3G, optional keyboard and dock, 2-megapixel front camera, 8-megapixel rear camera, optional NFC (Near-Field Communication), an Intel Atom processor, and “Geniune Windows 8 Pro” operating system all packed in a 9.8mm thin shell. Lenovo claims a battery life of 10 hours for its new tablet, but we accept that with a bit of skepticism. Added security comes in the form of a fingerprint reader as well as a stylus which is great for taking notes. We have some press shots for you after the break.
