Sony quietly removed the wraps off its latest smartphone, the Xperia SL, the successor to the Xperia S. The Xperia SL has a faster 1.7 GHz dual-core processor compared to the 1.5 GHz one in Xperia S. The other specs remain the same including its 4.3 inch display with a native resolution of 1280×720. The 12.1 megapixel camera still takes centerstage on the SL. This time around the Xperia SL comes in four colors silver, black, white and pink. One more caveat is that it comes with Android 4.0(ICS) instead of Jelly Bean(4.1) out of the box. There’s also no word on price or availability.
