The new email service from Microsoft, Outlook, is great. Its simplistic design, focus on content and function makes it easy to use. Its the perfect culmination of form and function if you ask us. Hotmail hadn’t gone through a design change for over a decade, except for hideous themes that were added to lure users. This news came with the launch of yet another revamped service, Microsoft’s cloud storage SkyDrive. If numbers are to be believed 10 Million users have signed up for Outlook in just a span of two weeks. Early adoption is a great sign for a new service but this gold rush might just be in part to get desired usernames rather than actual usage of the service. Nevertheless, it shows people agree with Microsoft’s new design language.
