Rumors have been pouring in, that Apple has decided to release the new iPhone and the new Mini iPad in two different events. AllThingsD has a source close to the whole thing that confirmed Apple will unveil a new, smaller iPad during a special event in October. While the new iPhone is expected to be unveiled on September 12. The mini iPad (possibly 7-inch) is Apple’s answer to the growing popularity of the Amazon Kindle Fire and the sudden unexpected sales spurt of the Nexus 7. But the thing is, given the tremendous popularity of the iPad, both Amazon and Google will take a huge hit with this release.
