If you have seen Google’s homepage today, you will notice apart from a doodle for “Ludwig Mies van der Rohe” 126th birthday, that a “New” item has been added to the already cluttered black navigation bar, Play. Google has culminated all its media centric services under this moniker. Android Market, Google Music , Google Movies have all been rebranded as Google Play. This serves as both a consolidation of services as well as providing easy access to the user.
Avid Google users would also notice that Videos link has been replaced by YouTube, which makes perfect sense. Furthermore, you’ll see your most common services now taking precedence in the Google navigation bar.
